About Us

Thoughtfully written, beautifully illustrated, carefully designed and well-produced books to read with young children. That’s what we were looking for as design graduates, creative professionals and parents, and our struggle to find what we wanted led to the creation of Little Latitude in 2011.

Initially collaborating with watercolour artist Prashant Miranda and writer Kalpana Subramanian, our first set of books delved into the imaginations of sister-brother duo Anahi and Vir, offering a child-centric, whimsical take on the world.

Since then, we’ve worked with renowned writers and editors as well as established and emerging artists, to create picture books which challenge and engage young minds, giving equal importance to image and text. Our books are stocked around the world, in stores in India, Singapore, Canada and the USA.

Known for hand-lettering, bouncing rhyme and sturdy board books printed by Tien Wah Press in Singapore, we’re now entering our thirteenth year of publishing. As we do, we’re experimenting with new ideas – publishing our first chapter book, translating from various foreign languages like Italian, Catalan and French to English and continuing to discover the new talent from around the world which gives our books their global appeal.
